The Women who Publish the News Are a Great Host

Psalm 68:11 says, "The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host."

There's something happening in the world right now that I don't know how to explain, but I can feel it crackling in the air. I hear people all around me talking about it.

It's the women.

In a world that has always placed more value on men, especially in the church, things have shifted. Within the church, the energy I sense isn't that women have any desire to take over for men. We feel a heavy anointing upon us to bear and publish the news of the Lord's word of power, and we won't be silenced.

God is calling women to bear and publish the powerful word of the Lord.

"AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ says God,

‘THAT I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON ALL MANKIND;

AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY,

AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE [divinely prompted] VISIONS,

AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM [divinely prompted] DREAMS;

18EVEN ON MY BOND-SERVANTS, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN,

I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR OUT MY SPIRIT

And they shall prophesy.

-Acts 2:17-18

If you're a woman who senses God calling you to speak, write, and prophesy the powerful word of the Lord, it's time to release the floodgate. It's time to join the great host of women who are rising up in the name of the Lord, full of respect for our husbands, fathers, and pastors, and sure of our anointing as we publish and bear the news from on High.

In our home, I sense my husband's hand on my back as I step forward, no longer willing to be silent. No longer intimidated into waiting for the right time or the right audience. He's right beside me, whispering, "Go! Speak!"

It's time.

If you're local, I invite you to join the weekly Bible study I'm hosting. It's a dynamic group of women who are hungry for the Lord. If you're not local, maybe it's time for you to start a Bible study. Our process is very simple. We read a chapter (right now we're in Acts) out loud together, then go around and share what stood out to us. Then, we discuss it. Those discussions have been incredible. We end in prayer. It's become a highlight of my week. Send me a private message for more details.
